Lentil Soup

Very simple but filling event without using oil…… Good  and healthy alternative for winter …..

Ingredients: (for 2/3 people)

  • 1 coffee cup lentil
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 1 medium size carrot
  • 1 medium size potato
  • 3 coffee cup water
  • Salt
  • Dried red paper (optional for the top)

Preparation:

Wash red lentils and drain it by using filter.

Wash onion, potato and carrot and take off their skins.

Put them all into pan, add salt and water (water needs to be roughly 1 cm above the lentils)

Close the pan and let lentils to be cooked around 30 minutes (medium heat like around 4 out of 10). Lentils needs to be watery but dissolved in the pan (like below picture).

Then, blend them by using hand blander.
